Biography
Dr. Mohammad Khavari is a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant for the project entitled “Upscaling environment-friendly cavitation melt treatment” UltraMelt2 funded by EPSRC. He received his BSc. and MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and his PhD from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His research interests are thermo-fluid and acoustic cavitation. His role to the project is to investigate the fundamental mechanisms of shock waves generated from the collapsing cavitation bubbles in a sonicated liquid and optimize the ultrasonic cavitation melt treatment by applying sophisticated flow management strategies.
