Biography
I started at Oxford Brookes with BEng Mechanical engineering and I am currently studying for MSc Mechanical engineering. My primary interests are in biomedical and aviation engineering with emphasis on improving reliability. The aim of my MSc dissertation is to study the potential impacts of cavitation within ultrasonically actuated medical needles on treatment dispersion, in partnership with Active Needle Technology Ltd. This type of system currently requires further analysis in order to advance device performance for maximum therapeutic benefit. The focus of the project will be on improving dispersion of treatment from the needles to cover entire tumours.
