Biography

Dr Amanpreet Kaur is a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant working under the project entitled “Sustainable and industrially scalable ultrasonic liquid phase exfoliation (LPE) technologies for manufacturing 2D advanced functional materials” (EcoUltra2D) funded by EPSRC. Her role is to produce graphene and other 2D materials by means of liquid phase exfoliation techniques using green solvents, optimize the process parameters aiming and build-up a sono-reactor for graphene processing at large scale.

She received her PhD degree in 2020 from Guru Nanak Dev University, India and was previously served as ad hoc Assistant Professor (Physics) at Department of Physics, Khalsa College, India. She completed her Masters in Hons. Physics (2013-2015) from Department of Physics, Guru Nanak Dev University, India while she has an undergraduate degree (2010-2013) in Science (BSc.) from Saroop Rani Govt. College, India.
